NFREC - Suwannee Valley is home to IFAS hydroponic research and demonstration projects. The Center leads the nutrient management thrust in the Suwannee River region with research on nutrient and water management for several crops. Through its involvement with the Suwannee River Partnership, a consortium of government, industry, private, and education groups, nutrient and water resource issues in the Suwannee Valley area are addressed.
The IFAS Livestock Waste Testing Lab (LWTL) at the Center helps producers manage livestock wastes with economics and the environment in mind.
